Journées eHandwierk 2016: Getting on the fast track to digitalisation with Luxinnovation

Date: 08/06/2016

Luxinnovation is presenting Fit for Digital, its latest SME performance enhancing programme, at the Journées eHandwierk organised by the ‘Chambre des Métiers’ on 7 & 8 June. Don’t miss the second conference day today and come and listen to Arnaud Duban at 5:00 pm to find out how our new programme will help your business get the most out of digitalisation.

Arnaud Duban, Head of SME performance at Luxinnovation, will offer insight into Fit for Digital, which is designed to help small enterprises evaluate what benefits they stand to derive from embracing digitalisation. “To all SMEs currently planning on launching ICT projects: you are welcome to get in contact with us! We will help you identify the right technologies for your business and accompany you during the transition towards digitalisation”, proposes Arnaud Duban in his speech.

Due for launch this autumn and managed by Luxinnovation in cooperation with an external consultant, the programme helps companies accelerate the digitalisation of their business processes in order to be able to meet the rapidly evolving needs of their customers. What’s more, companies that are eligible for Fit for Digital can access grants made available by the Ministry of the Economy to fund part of the cost of the programme. In a first step, the consultant analyses the company’s potential for ICT innovation by establishing which digital technologies are in line with the overall business strategy. In the next step, the so-called project phase, the findings of phase 1 are implemented along with staff training. Luxinnovation is at the client’s side during the whole digitalisation process, hence safeguarding the smooth management and administration of the project. “Especially for small enterprises in the skilled craft business, Fit for Digital offers access to valuable expertise. Not only the costs of the consultant will be partly covered but there are also subsidies for purchasing or licensing new software”, points out Rémi Grizard, Programme Manager Fit for Digital.

Come visit us at our stand at the ‘Chambre des Métiers’ - we would be pleased to give you more detailed information about Fit for Digital as well as a copy of our brand new programme Flyer in French  or German . Skilled craft businesses also have the opportunity to discover various other digitalisation aspects during the conference, which touches on a variety of topics such as Digital Marketing, Social Media, the Internet of Things (IoT), digitalisation of data, information modelling and more.
