Visit the Luxembourg Space Cluster at the Salon du Bourget
The International Paris Air Show at Le Bourget is the aviation and space industry’s largest dedicated show with over 2,000 international exhibitors and 139,000 trade visitors. The Luxembourg Space Cluster will participate in the next edition of the Show on 15-21 June 2015 in order to promote the products, services and capabilities of its members.
Strengthening the international visibility of its members is a main priority of the Luxembourg Space Cluster and the reason why it will be present at the Salon du Bourget in a few weeks’ time. "The Salon du Bourget brings the entire aerospace industry together once every two years," confirms Dr Patricia Conti, Manager of the Cluster at Luxinnovation. "If we want to promote Luxembourg space activities at international level, this is the place to be."
The event is over a hundred years old and the largest and longest-running aerospace trade show in the world. Its first four days will be reserved for trade visitors, and followed by three days open to the general public. The Show will present the latest developments in fields such as space, satellites and satellite telecommunications; composite materials and surface treatments; and production equipment, tools and software, among others.
The Luxembourg Space Cluster will be part of the joint Luxembourg stand organised by the Ministry of the Economy and exhibit along several of its member companies. "Our aim is both to facilitate contacts with potential partners and clients for our members who are present, and to represent those who are not," Dr Conti explains. "I encourage anyone involved in Luxembourg’s space sector who is not an exhibitor to come for a day. We will be happy to advise them regarding relevant visits and contacts."
