This mission is also realised through our involvement as a partner in the W.A.V.E. project, which supports the development of a high-performing local wood sector based on coordinated cross-border strategies.
The W.A.V.E. project is supported by the Interreg Greater Region 2021-2027 programme.
This project aims to:
Increase the share of local wood in local processing and valorisation;
Develop coordinated cross-border strategies and common tools;
Enable smoother exchanges between wood sector stakeholders in the Greater Region;
Strengthen intra- and inter-sector cooperation;
Support companies through innovation and digitalisation;
Ensure the relocation of processing and the use of wood material in construction.

Support your innovative projects, particularly in the field of sustainable construction, through the launch and development of innovative product lines in the wood sector, its processing, and modular wood construction;
Help you seek funding for the development of innovative pilot projects;
Enable you to participate in technical visits and study missions, trade fairs;
Organise networking events for industrial companies, funders, scientists, and researchers.
