  Besides the EEN partnering services, Luxinnovation can support Luxembourgish companies in assessing their innovation management system or their digital maturity.

  Luxinnovation does not help companies to find investors.

  As a national para-public agency, it is not Luxinnovation's role to provide financial support to private initiatives. However, if the request is directly related to our missions, please contact us via the online form and we will look into the possibility of providing some form of support.
• We want to develop electromobility within our company, and invest in recharging infrastructures for electric vehicles. Can LXI help me to find funding?
  Yes, LXI can help you find funding for charging infrastructures. However, if you first need advise on your electromobility strategy or technical options, you can contact the Klima Agence.
• I'm a student at an University who would like to do an innovation-related PhD. Could Luxinnovation help me find funding for my PhD?
  This is out of our scope, please contact the FNR.
• We've installed electric vehicle charging stations or/and solar panels in our company, and would like to apply for financial aid. Can you help us apply to the Luxembourg authorities?
  Please be advised that the funding instruments that are in place are meant to have an incentive character. Costs that have already been incurred cannot be refunded retroactively.

  Luxinnovation supports companies that are developing concrete innovation projects.
  If you are in the early ideation phase and have not yet established a company, we recommend that you first contact the House of Entrepreneurship, which provides guidance on setting up a legal entity in Luxembourg.
  
  Our support in areas such as funding guidance, ecosystem insights, and partner matchmaking is primarily intended for startups that are legally established in Luxembourg.
  
  The only exception to this is the Fit 4 Start acceleration program, which is also open to international startups that have reached at least the MVP stage, even if they are not yet incorporated at the time of application.

  We focus on innovative, tech-driven startups looking to grow in Luxembourg.

  For public RDI funding, a registered entity in Luxembourg is required.

• Do I need to register my company to get support from Luxinnovation?
  Yes, for most services.
  Exception: Fit 4 Start applicants do not need to be incorporated yet.
• I have been working on a business idea and I would appreciate support in finding partners, clients, investors, or funding. Can Luxinnovation help me?
  Luxinnovation’s support focuses specifically on innovation-driven projects that are beyond the ideation stage. We do not provide general business development services such as finding clients or investors for early-stage ideas.
  
  However, if your startup has a clear innovation component and is legally established in Luxembourg, we may be able to assist with:

  • Guidance on relevant public funding schemes for innovation (e.g., RDI or YIE aids)
  • Matchmaking with potential partners in the local innovation ecosystem
  • Presenting the Luxembourg ecosystem to startups with a strong interest in establishing a presence here

  If you are not yet incorporated but have reached the MVP-stage, you may consider applying to the Fit 4 Start acceleration program, which also welcomes international startups.
