Our initiatives

Beyond supporting individual companies, Luxinnovation initiates and participates in collaborative projects that address systemic challenges and contribute to the development of Luxembourg's innovation ecosystem. These projects bring together public and private stakeholders to tackle shared issues at national, cross-border and European level.

Innovation ecosystems do not develop on their own. They require structural projects that identify gaps, build bridges between actors and create the conditions for sustainable, collaborative growth.

As part of its Ecosystem Innovation Projects pillar, Luxinnovation initiates and develops projects in technological and economic areas considered strategic for Luxembourg's competitive and sustainable development. These projects emerge from an ideation process involving key actors from the economy, research and the public sector.

In parallel, Luxinnovation participates as a partner in European co-funded programmes, notably under Interreg, that extend this collaborative approach across borders and into the Greater Region.

Luxinnovation participates as a partner in European co-funded projects, in particular under the Interreg Greater Region 2021–2027 programme. These projects support cross-border collaboration and help companies and stakeholders in the Greater Region tackle shared economic and environmental challenges.

Luxinnovation also leads and participates in national projects that address specific challenges facing Luxembourg's innovation ecosystem, from sustainability to startup growth. These projects are developed in close collaboration with the Luxembourg Government and key ecosystem partners.
