GreenTech Solutions Awards 2026: apply before 5 June

The GreenTech Solutions Awards celebrate SMEs in the Greater Region that develop high-performance solutions for ecological transition and the circular economy.

The 2026 edition has just been launched as part of the Greater Green+ project, an initiative supported by the European Commission through the Interreg Greater Region 2021-2027 programme. The project aims to accelerate the ecological transition and economic resilience of companies and territories in the Greater Region (Luxembourg, Lorraine, Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate and Wallonia) by fostering the development of environmentally friendly technologies.

Who can apply for the GreenTech Solutions Awards?

Innovative SMEs based in the Greater Region that offer concrete solutions in the fields of ecological transition and the circular economy.

Eligible solutions must be at least at TRL 5 maturity (technology validated in a relevant environment, i.e. tested under conditions close to real use) and fall within one of the following areas:

• Clean energy
• Sustainable construction and renovation
• Recycling technologies
• Water and environment
• Bioeconomy

Why participate?

“Participating in these awards provides valuable visibility across the Greater Region, particularly during the award ceremony and through the project’s communication activities,” says Devan Horn, Junior Project Coordinator Interreg at Luxinnovation. “Companies can showcase their commitment to a greener and more sustainable economy.”

In the previous edition, the Luxembourg company H2O Vortex received the jury’s award in the “Water & Environment” category.

Interested companies have until 5 June at 12:00 to complete the online application form.

• April 2026: Call for applications opens
• 5 June: Application deadline at 12:00
• 23 June: Pre-selection
• 3 July: Final selection
• 19 November: GreenTech Solutions Awards presented at the Green Tech Solutions Summit in Liège
