Who will follow in the footsteps of Fischer, Cebi International and DataThings, Luxscan Technologies, Data Design Engineering and Neon Internet, winners of the first edition of the Luxembourg AI Excellence Awards in 2025?
The strong success of this original initiative in Luxembourg has naturally led FEDIL – The Voice of Luxembourg’s Industry – and Luxinnovation, through the Luxembourg AI Factory, to renew these awards celebrating excellence in artificial intelligence in Luxembourg, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce.
This competition aims to recognise achievements and excellence in AI research, product and solution innovation, business applications and societal impact. Whether you are an ambitious startup or an established organisation, this is a unique opportunity to showcase your contribution to the rapidly evolving AI landscape, gain visibility, and strengthen your position within the Luxembourg and European AI ecosystem.
Why participate in the Luxembourg AI Excellence Awards?
- Gain recognition: Showcase your achievements and increase your visibility within the AI community and beyond.
- Highlight innovation: Demonstrate the impact of your innovative AI products, solutions and technologies.
- Expand your network: Connect with fellow innovators, AI experts and potential partners.
- Strengthen credibility: Winning an award provides strong validation and reinforces your reputation.
Who can apply?
Submitted projects must stand out for their innovative and original nature while demonstrating clear relevance to the Luxembourg economy.
The awards are open to private sector organisations (entrepreneurs, startups, SMEs and large corporations), regardless of their industry. A pre-selection process will be conducted by a dedicated working group jointly established by FEDIL and Luxinnovation for applications submitted by individuals (self-employed professionals, entrepreneurs) or groups of individuals.
Public research institutions (universities, research centres) and public sector entities (ministries, local authorities, etc.) may not apply independently. Applications must be submitted by a private organisation presenting the project as part of a partnership or collaboration.
Submitted projects must:
- Demonstrate an innovative and original character;
- Highlight a potential impact on the economy, society or the environment;
- Be based on artificial intelligence technologies (such as machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, etc.);
- Already be implemented.
