Luxembourg’s agri-food ecosystem: value chain insights
In the context of a partnership agreement signed between Luxinnovation and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Viticulture, Luxinnovation has been charged with the realisation of a mapping showcasing the agri-food value chain.
As shown by the figure below, this mapping provides a valuable overview of Luxembourg’s agri-food landscape, including:
- Core Agri-business: private and public entities active in the agri-food value chain, focusing on Transformation, Wholesale and Distribution, and Retail and Consumption.
- Agri-enablers: private and public entities that facilitate and support the efficient functioning and development of the agri-food ecosystem.
