The Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy offers companies financial support to co-fund investments in eco-technology or environmentally friendly processes.

It helps companies cover some of the extra costs directly associated with better protecting the environment. The four measures that are most likely of interest are:

environmental studies (Art.14), which must be carried out by an independent and qualified external service provider whose services are partially covered by the subsidy
measures aimed at going beyond environmental standards or increasing the level of environmental protection in the absence of standards (Art.4)
energy efficiency investments that lead to substantial energy savings (Art.6)
investments in the production of renewable energies (Art.9).
