Private companies, public research organisations and other entities can apply for funding to joint calls for projects in specific thematic fields.
In order to facilitate close and interactive cooperation between private companies and public research organisations, the Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy, the Luxembourg National Research Fund and Luxinnovation regularly organise joint calls for projects in thematic areas such as healthtech, defence and high performance computing.
The thematic calls for projects provide financial support for public-private partnerships that jointly implement research and development (R&D) projects.
Depending on the specific nature and scope of each call, this initiative can fund industrial research and/or experimental development activities. For companies, the subsidy can cover a proportion of the eligible costs directly related to research and development projects.
