EEN: at the heart of the European SME support scheme

The Enterprise Europe Network-Luxembourg consortium reaffirms its pivotal role in translating European priorities into tangible drivers of growth and innovation for Luxembourg companies.

Supported by the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Skilled Crafts, and Luxinnovation, the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Luxembourg forms a truly integrated ecosystem of support, innovation and growth for all types of businesses – from craftspeople to innovative start-ups and internationally oriented SMEs. Its ambition is to embed a lasting European and international dimension into their development strategies..

Europe in action for business

A member of this major European support network since its creation in 2008, the national consortium assists companies at every stage of their European and international development. It facilitates access to foreign markets, helps identify business partners, encourages participation in European programmes and funding opportunities, and supports companies in their digital transformation, sustainable transition and innovation capacity.

Thanks to its strong European foundations and active engagement with EU authorities, the Enterprise Europe Network in Luxembourg offers companies targeted and tailor-made support.

A key player in the strategic dialogue between SMEs and Europe

Beyond its information, awareness-raising and advisory services, the Luxembourg EEN consortium plays an essential role in relaying feedback from the field to the European institutions. Through European surveys, public consultations, SME Panels and other dialogue mechanisms, the network actively ensures that the voice of Luxembourg SMEs is heard in the development of future EU policies.

At the same time, EEN Luxembourg acts as a privileged intermediary, identifying and reporting persistent obstacles to the proper functioning of the Single Market, while seeking to provide concrete and pragmatic solutions to the issues encountered.

Through this threefold approach – listening, relaying and acting – the consortium helps to build an ongoing strategic dialogue between Europe and its SMEs..

Committed partner organisations, complementary expertise

Within EEN-Luxembourg, collaboration between the three partner organisations, each bringing complementary expertise, is key to effectively supporting companies in their European and international ambitions.

“What sets EEN-Luxembourg apart is our determination to open the doors of Europe and international markets to all companies, even the smallest,” explains Sabrina Sagramola, Manager and National Coordinator of the national consortium at the Chamber of Commerce. “We offer a broad range of accessible, tailor-made services, built on an integrated and holistic approach that takes into account every aspect of entrepreneurial development – innovation, internationalisation, financing, digitalisation and sustainability. Together, our partners form a united and well-connected ecosystem that enables Luxembourg SMEs to go beyond borders, to become part of the European dynamic, and to collaborate beyond the EU. In this way, the three partners work to turn European policies into concrete, impactful solutions and to prepare Luxembourg SMEs to meet the challenges of tomorrow with competitiveness, agility and confidence.”

EEN-Luxembourg delivers its services on two levels. “The first aims to widely share key information and raise awareness among companies of the challenges and opportunities linked to the network’s nine priorities – from sustainability and innovation to access to finance and markets. The second focuses on personalised support,” explains Rémi Grizard, Senior Advisor at Luxinnovation. “We assess each need, formalise it and propose appropriate solutions, whether through partnerships or strategic advice. When necessary, we mobilise the most relevant actors within the ecosystem. Our ambition is simple: to turn opportunities into tangible results and create real value for companies.”

Tangible results at the service of the economic fabric

The Enterprise Europe Network-Luxembourg consortium is the partner of choice for companies seeking to anticipate change, innovate and access new markets.

Since 2008, it has delivered more than 35,000 services and facilitated over 20,000 international B2B meetings. Around 22,500 participants have taken part in conferences and events organised by the consortium. Between 2022 and 2025 alone, more than 6,500 Luxembourg SMEs have benefited from its services.

Backed by a multidisciplinary team of experts in innovation, financing, digitalisation, sustainability and internationalisation, the network works daily to strengthen the competitiveness and resilience of companies. Its efforts are reflected in innovation diagnostics, advice on exports and digitalisation, and the proactive resolution of administrative barriers through European tools such as SOLVIT(1) and the Single Market Barrier Tracker(2).

EEN Luxembourg thus demonstrates its unique added value: transforming European policies into measurable results for SMEs and actively contributing to the sustainable growth of the national entrepreneurial landscape..
