Fit 4 Scale is a brand-new programme designed for ambitious startups ready to expand across Europe. Over nine months, five selected companies will receive tailored support from seasoned entrepreneurs, technical experts and venture capitalists. Together, we will tackle some of the most critical growth challenges - including internationalisation, capital access and visibility - as well as others specific to your scaleup’s journey.

Why Fit 4 Scale?

After a successful pilot in 2024, Fit 4 Scale was created to fill a crucial gap: helping startups move beyond the seed stage and prepare for Series A fundraising.

As part of the programme is the Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EIR) initiative, developed by the Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy and Startup Luxembourg. Through this, participants gain access to tailored meetings and events organised with Luxembourg embassies and business clubs in target countries. The first EIR event took place in Brussels with three Luxembourg scaleups, with more to follow in France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Fit 4 Scale is part of the Luxembourg government’s 10-point action plan to strengthen the startup and scaleup ecosystem. Developed by Luxinnovation and the Ministry of the Economy, in collaboration with ecosystem partners, it provides the bespoke support that founders need to successfully scale in Europe.

To participate, startups must and demonstrate the following:

An innovative product or service with a clear value proposition
Strong ambition supported by a significant international market opportunity
A clear growth trajectory with demonstrated revenue/ARR and future growth potential
A committed team with a learning mindset, collaborative spirit and proven ability to execute

Check your eligibility

You can quickly verify whether your startup meets the Fit 4 Scale criteria via the Startup Luxembourg directory.
This link filters for startups and scaleups that:

have raised between €1 million and €15 million in funding
are registered in Luxembourg
are less than 20 years old
have a verified profile on the national startup platform managed by Startup Luxembourg (powered by Dealroom)

Important: Your application to Fit 4 Scale requires the creation or update of your Dealroom profile. Only companies whose profiles on the national startup platform managed by Startup Luxembourg (powered by Dealroom) are complete and up to date by the application deadline (14 December 2025) — including information on FTEs and funds raised — and that meet all other eligibility criteria, will be considered for evaluation.

If you are creating a new Dealroom profile, make sure to include all key information: Company name, RCS number, Luxembourg address, company launch date, funding amount, employee number, website, name of founder.

Your profile must be verified by the Startup Luxembourg team to confirm localisation and innovation.
