Le Gouvernement du Grand-Duché du Luxembourg

Focus on the new "zero-emission vehicles" aid scheme

Follow our webinar (in French language) on Tuesday 13 June , from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., to learn all about this new funding scheme.

Following the tripartite agreement reached on 31 March 2022, the government introduced in April 2023 a new funding scheme to assist in the purchase of zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles (categories N2 and N3).

This aid scheme is temporary and will be reviewed when the new European provisions on state aid is being transposed into national law.

On the initiative of the Ministry of the Economy, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Energy, with the support of Luxinnovation, an information webinar for the actors involved in this field will be organised on Tuesday 13 June from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., in French language.

The webinar will focus on the following points:

  • Summary of a study on the different types of zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles, their total cost of ownership ("TCO") as well as national and European measures related to the promotion of these vehicles, presented by the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works;
  • The details and modalities of the new temporary aid for the acquisition of zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles, presented by the Ministry of the Economy;
  • A review of the charging infrastructure aid scheme for electric vehicles, and the outlook based on the latest study, presented by the Ministry of Energy and Spatial Planning.

This webinar will provide in-depth information on the legal framework as well as the modalities and procedures in place. A Q&A session will be organised at the end of the session.
