To support this positioning, Luxinnovation has developed a data-driven view based on Luxinnovation’s defence 2025 catalogue. Without being exhaustive, this mapping identifies known public and private stakeholders active in the national defence and security ecosystem.
The mapping offers a structured and up-to-date overview of Luxembourg’s defence landscape. It aims to enhance visibility and support a deeper understanding of the ecosystem for policymakers, partners and industry stakeholders.

This data was collected as part of the 2025 edition of the Luxembourg Industry and Research Capabilities for Security and Defence catalogue, for which entity provided relevant information on their areas of expertise in the defence & security field.
This ecosystem overview includes private companies and research organizations that develop or offer technologies, products, and/or services developed or manufactured in Luxembourg that are of interest to the security and defence market.
