The Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub (L-DIH) welcomed industrial stakeholders to its booth at the Nexus Luxembourg symposium held in Luxembourg on 17-18 June 2025.
A true meeting point for digital and industrial players, the Nexus Luxembourg event proved to be an ideal platform for the L-DIH’s partners. Over the course of two days, the event fostered dynamic participation through technical sessions, strategic discussions, and inspiring encounters.
Beyond the strong turnout – particularly on the first day – what stood out most to DIH representatives was the quality of the conversations and the diversity of profiles. “What I’ll remember most is the richness of the exchanges, taking place in a more open and friendly environment than the usual office setting,” said Mickael Desloges, Senior Advisor ‑ Assessments & Roadmaps at Luxinnovation.
This format made it possible to discuss with players who are not typically part of the L-DIH ecosystem, such as private investors and large companies seeking digital solutions.

The booth showcased not only the Luxembourg side of the L-DIH initiative but also its European network. This helped local product and services suppliers realise they could also collaborate with DIH Grand Est in France, for instance.
“It’s a cross-border momentum that deserves to be strengthened,” added Mr Desloges.
Whether it was through talks on robotics and automation or insights from SMEs undergoing digital transformation, the thematic sessions organised by Luxinnovation during Nexus and discussions with companies highlighted highlighted tangible, real-world experiences.
One key takeaway from the speakers was a renewed focus on practical concerns—moving away from the high-level, trendy discussions around artificial intelligence. “This gave us the opportunity to share inspiring best practices,” said Caroline Muller, Business Relationship Manager at Luxinnovation, specialising in materials and manufacturing. “The importance of being able to collect data, having the right tools, and then using that data effectively to improve performance, came up time and again. It’s essential for improving a company’s efficiency, product quality, and process control.”

But more important than just collecting and analysing data is ensuring its quality from the outset. “Having good, relevant data is a prerequisite,” Desloges emphasised. “It was helpful to return to these fundamentals, rather than focusing only on high-tech aspects.”
The insights from these two days will now be digested and will serve as the foundation for the 2026 edition. Planning and outreach will begin several months in advance. “With L-DIH services, industrial companies have access to a comprehensive range of helpful tools. But many still don’t know this. Communicating that message is essential,” concluded Mrs Muller.
