Megatrends

The celebrations of the coronation of Grand Duke Guillaume brought Luxembourg to life for three days. They offered a splendid occasion for communion between the sovereign and his people, shining a light on solidarity and human bonds.

Organised by the magazine Paperjam, the "2024 Luxembourg Trend Makers" event provided an overview of the major trends to expect in 2024. Six experts from the economic world participated, including Luxinnovation's CEO Sasha Baillie, who emphasised the crucial role that innovation must play in addressing future challenges.

Over 500 representatives of science and technology parks from all over the world gathered in Luxembourg on 12-15 September 2023 for the 40th World Conference of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP). The Luxinnovation team reflects on the highly relevant main theme, “Megatrends in innovation ecosystem” of the event hosted by Luxembourg incubator Technoport.

During the conference "Megatrends 2050: Shaping the future with scientific foresight", Sasha Baillie, CEO of Luxinnovation, reviewed some of these megatrends and how Luxembourg is addressing these challenges. The last part: the changing challenges in healthcare.
